Mrs. Cheryl Veda (Polson) Woodle, age 58, formally of Bennettsville, passed away, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC, after an illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 24,1958, she was the daughter of the late Bobby M. Polson and Veda F. Polson. She was retired from the Army Airforce exchange Service where she worked with Human Resources, and for the past six years her job was being a proud “Nana” for her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, fishing, crocheting blankets for her grandchildren, and eating her sweets. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories, her beloved husband of 39 years, Walker “Ray” Woodle, Jr; Her son Jonathan Ray Woodle and wife Jamie; Her daughter Joanne Michelle Vastine and husband Joseph; her mother Veda Polson; brothers Robert Polson and wife Christy, Gary Polson and wife Vickie; sisters Donna Brigman and husband Terry, and Barbara Locklear; her grandchildren Alissa M. Woodle, James R. Woodle, Caleb Vastine, and Lily Vastine.

She is preceded in death by her father Bobby M. Polson listed above.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 2 pm at Burroughs & Cooper funeral home with burial at Sunset Memorial Park in Bennettsville. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm prior to the service and other times at the Veda Polson, 213 Pineview Rd., Bennettsville, SC 29512
