Mrs. Mamie Lee Taylor Oliver Pruitt Ratliff, passed away, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC after a brief illness. She was 86 years old.
Born on April 8, 1931 in Scotland County, NC. She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Ida Mae Hodge Taylor. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bennettsville. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, and loved going to church. She was a true prayer warrior.
She is survived by; her sons, Donnie Oliver of Ruby, SC, Jerry (Gail) Oliver of Myrtle Beach, SC, Joey (Kitty) Oliver of Ruby, SC, Roy (Patricia) Pruitt of Bennettsville, SC, Rusty (Annette) Pruitt of White Oaks, NC, Gene (Nancy) Pruitt of Laurens, SC, David Pruitt of Garner, NC, and Bill (Pat) Ratliff of Bennettsville; her daughters; Vickie (Jennings) Crowley of Bennettsville, SC, Elizabeth Mojeske of Raliegh, NC, Cathy Pearce of Garner, NC, Marie (Robert) Epps of Raliegh, NC, Willie Mae (Paul) Ray of White Oak, NC, Peggy (Bob) Polzine of Pryor Lake, MN; her sister, Ethel Mae Jordan of Bennettsville, SC; 51 grand-children, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grand-children; a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by; her parents listed above; first husband, Fred Oliver, second husband, Oscar Pruitt, and third husband, Roy Ratliff; children, Larry Oliver, Gloria Dyer, Grady Oliver, Sammy Pruitt, and Betty Carol Starlings; sisters, Lillie Jordan, Eva Wallace, and Margie Moore; brothers, James Taylor and Willie Taylor.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00pm just prior to the service at the church.
