Mrs. Tillie Liles Hagan, 91, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018 at Scotia Village in Laurinburg, NC.
Mrs. Hagan was born August 2, 1926 in Bennettsville, SC, to the late Thomas E. and Mary Brigman Liles, and the widow of James Howard Hagan.
Following her marriage to Howard, they operated a bakery on Marlboro Street in Bennettsville, SC during the 1940’s.
Later, Tillie enjoyed her many years in Panama and North Myrtle Beach with her beloved Howard.
Mrs. Hagan’s faith was the guiding force for her life, evidenced by how she shared love, generosity, warmth, and friendship wherever she was.
While in North Myrtle Beach, she was a devoted member of King of Glory Lutheran Church and she attended and joined St. Luke United Methodist Church while in Laurinburg, NC.
Mrs. Hagan was adored by all of her family and friends and will be missed and remembered by all.
Surviving are; nephews, Michael F. Davis, of Bennettsville, SC; William A. Dicus (Pepi), of Boone, NC.; Mike Davis, of Woodbridge, VA.; Tommy E. Liles, of Florence, SC.; Frank Liles, of Wilmington, NC.; nieces, Mary Liles Bostic, of Brighton, CO; Faith Furtick, of Charlotte, NC.; Kerstin McMahon, of Woodbridge, VA.; Donna D. Daniel, of Buffalo Junction, VA.; Gail Davis of Surfside Beach, SC., a dear and devoted friend, Marie Lee of McColl, SC.
A graveside service will be held at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC at 2:00pm on March 25, 2018.
