Mr. Aaron Douglas Nolan passed away, Saturday, December 7, 2019 after an unexpected illness. He was 25 years old.

He was born on March 22, 1994 in Laurinburg, NC to Mr. William Boyd Nolan, Jr. and Mrs. Wendy Hood Thomas. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a skidder operator for Great Woods Logging Company. Aaron enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and life in general, spending time with family, friends, and his girlfriend Brooke Benenhaley.

Aaron leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; father, William “Will” Boyd Nolan, Jr. of Bennettsville; mother, Wendy Hood Thomas (Sam) of Bennettsville; brother, Allen Boyd Nolan of Bennettsville; maternal grandparents, Aaron and Tiny Hood of Blenheim, SC; girlfriend, Brooke Benenhaley of North Augusta, SC; Aunts, Mary Collins (David) of Bennettsville, Pam Ferry (Greg) of Bennettsville, and Ann Patterson (Edward) of Bennettsville; cousins, Greg Collins, Angela Turner (Alexander), Ashley Brock (Andrew), Lorrie Holden (Josh), and Rachel Driggers.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William “Billy” Boyd, Sr and Mary Perkins Nolan.

A funeral service will be held 3:00pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
