Clio/Garden City Beach
Mrs. Annette Odom Floyd (78) of Clio, SC went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2019 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, SC surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Annette was born February 8, 1941 in Clio, SC to the late Henry Joseph and Lorine Hamilton Odom. She was a member of Trinity UMC of Clio and was retired from Marlboro County School District, where she served as secretary of Clio Elementary School. Ms. Annette was the most amazing person who always put everyone else first before herself. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and the best friend you could ever have. She loved God, her family, and loved life itself.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her husband of 61 years, Dixie Floyd of Clio; son, Mitchel Floyd and wife Dawne of Pensacola, FL.; daughter, Vicki Floyd Celani and husband Chris of Atlanta, GA.; sister, Norma Gayle Odom Simpson of Daphne, AL; grandchildren, Matt Celani of Atlanta, GA and Mia Celani of Los Angeles, CA.; step-granddaughter, Brittany Stevens and wife Victoria of Theodore, AL.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 am, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Trinity UMC in Clio, SC. A visitation will be held at 10 am in the parsonage just prior to the service. A reception will be held just after the service.
