Bradley “Brad” Garrison Cox, age 40, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Brad was born on June 21, 1979 in Bennettsville to Gary Mitchell Cox "Kathi" and Delorice Blue Barrington "Jerry". He was a graduate of Marlboro County High School and was a welder by trade. Brad was a true outdoors man, he liked hunting, water sports and was a pretty good handyman. He also enjoyed working on race cars and watching NASCAR. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish Brad’s memory; his parents listed above; sisters, Erika Cox Mills “Robert” of Florence, Kasey Cox Crotts “Derick” of Sophia, NC., Crystal Barrington Clark “Tate” of Bennettsville; maternal grandmother, Thelma P. Blue of Bennettsville; paternal grandmother, Noralean Cox of Asheboro, NC; nieces and nephews; Trey and Lauren Mills, Emery and Maddie Crotts; and a special friend and companion, Hope Lewis of Greenville, SC..

Brrad was preceded in death a maternal grandfather, Robert Blue; and a paternal grandfather, Reuben Cox.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Salem Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
