Mr. Ronald Evans Coxe passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Morrell Nursing Center in Hartsville. He was 67 years old. 

Ronald was born July 30, 1951 in Blenheim, SC to Sadie Mae Hood. He was a graduate of Lower Marlboro High School and a member of Brownsville Baptist Church. He served in The United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Ronald spent his career working as a millwright for Wellman Industries and a diesel mechanic for International Tree Farm. He loved being outside, working on cars, doing crossword puzzles, and reading. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel, the Discovery Channel and Jeopardy.

Ronald was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Hood and sister-in-law, Mary Coxe.

He is survived by his wife, Gerri Coxe of the home; daughters, Iris Griffin (Jamie) of Chapin, SC and Autumn Coxe of Charleston, SC; mother, Sadie Mae Hood listed above; brother, Larry Coxe of Blenheim; sister, Elaine Jackson (John) of Dillon, SC; grandson, Beau Griffin; step-son, Chris Nolan (Candice) of Hamlet, NC; stepdaughter, Heather Archer (Chip) of Wilmington, NC; step-grandchildren, Caden Nolan, Camden Nolan, Nolan Archer, Hazel Archer; and other beloved family members and friends.

A graveside service with military rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Brownsville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
