Mrs. Doris Marie Erwin Price, age 71, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Doris was born in Bennettsville on November 5, 1950, to the late Theodore Franklin & Hattie Mae Carver Erwin. She was a homemaker and was a member of Kingdom Life World Outreach Ministries. Doris enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, watching Old Westerns, TV shows and movies. Most of all she enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a son, Michael Wayne Erwin; sisters, Betty Mumford and Margaret Gainey; brother, Billy Carroll Erwin.

Doris leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, George Wayne Price; son, Larry Tyndall (Jennifer) of Bennettsville; brothers, Roy Erwin (Carolyn) of Bennettsville, Hubert Erwin (Ethel) of Walterboro, SC, Herbert Erwin (Mary Ann) of Missouri; sisters, Sarah Erwin of Bennettsville, Linda Smith of Holden Beach, NC, Faye Melton of Hartsville, Mary Norris (Billy Ray) of Laurel Hill, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Burroughs Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 1-3 P.M. prior to the service.
