George Edward Ingalls, Jr., 53, of Bennettsville, SC passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his residence.
George was born February 8, 1968 in Marlboro County, SC to George Edward Ingalls, Sr. and the late Dorothy “Dot” Pruitt Ingalls. Mr. Ingalls was employed with SCDOT. He attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. George loved the Gamecocks and enjoyed camping, the outdoors, animals, his chickens and cooking. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and would help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Turner Ingalls of Bennettsville; sons, George Edward “Trey” Ingalls, III (Ashley) and Dusty Arant Ingalls (Heather); daughter, Georgia Lourae Ingalls (Eddie); sisters, Tammy Ingalls Norman (Brian) and Michelle Ingalls; grandchildren, Bryson, Jacob, Hazelynn, George Holbrook, John Fitzgerald and Hampton Edward Ingalls.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday at Burroughs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 2610 Ebenezer Rd. Bennettsville, South Carolina_. Burial will follow in Turner Cemetery.
