Mrs. Lillie Mae Nolan Meggs passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at her residence after a illness. She was 78 years old.

Lillie was born April 15, 1943, in Marlboro County to the late William Hazel and Beatrice Sessoms Nolan. She was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church. She was the owner/operator of Discount Furniture. She enjoyed playing golf, flowers, and talking on the phone with her friend Nancy Crowley. She was a member of the Pilot Club and Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; her husband, Billy Wayne Meggs; brother, Carl Nolan; and sister, Judy Wells.

Lillie leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; daughters, Cindy Ayers (Burt) and Billie Jo Tinker (Joe); brother, Ricky Nolan (Jodi); grandchildren, Wayne Ayers (Tiffany), Drew Tinker, and RJ Tinker; great grandchildren, Caleb Ayers, Brayden Norris, Jackson Norris, and Noah Tinker; special friend, Nancy Crowley; special grandchildren Tapanga McKenzie and Zoe McKenzie.

Graveside funeral services will be held 9:00 AM on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Burroughs Funeral Home.
