Mrs. Linda Earl Freeman Taylor passed away August 26, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Linda was born on June 19, 1945 in Marlboro County to the late Henry T. Sr. and Rosa Lee Jacobs Freeman. She attended Emmanuel Holiness Church. She enjoyed taking care of people, and raising other people’s children, but most importantly spending time with her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her children, Judy Quick (Johnny), Justin Haithcock (Linda), Carol Huckabee, James Taylor Jr. “Dooley” (Alice “Whooley”); Jerry Taylor (Shannon) all of Bennettsville; sister, Myrtle Kifer (Hal); 20 grandchildren 40 great- grandchildren; special friend, Betty Sweatt; special caretaker, Ashleigh Haithcock;
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Johnny Taylor; brothers, Henry Thomas Freeman, Jr., Ray Jacobs, John L. Jacobs; sisters, Sally Carter, JoAnn Wetzler, Mildred Hall, and Phyllis Shaw.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Burroughs Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ervin Taylor and Rev. John Quick Jr., with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home.
