Mrs. Lynda “Jami” Sullivan, age 78, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
Born September 12, 1942 in Wilmington, North Carolina to the late Robert William & Myrtle Lee Sullivan Jamison. Lynda served her country faithfully by enlisting in the United States Army. She worked with the Savanah River Site as a Cad Drafter and later retired with Corning Fiber Optics in the same capacity. Lynda was the first full time fire fighter with the Hinesville Fire Department in Liberty, County GA. She liked gardening, the beach, playing Webkinz with her grandchildren, a diehard Republican and was a member of the Marlboro County Republican Party. Most of all she loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lynda leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Erin M. Allison (James) of Bennettsville, SC; son, Earl H. McGinley (Candi) of Macclenny, Florida; grandchildren, Robbie Allison, RiLeigh Allison, Montana McGinley, Olivia McGinley; great grandchildren, Sophia Allison & Naomi Caulder.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marlboro County Humane Society, 242 State Rd. Bennettsville, S.C. 29512 or to any animal rescue center of one’s choice.
