Mr. Milton “Mike” Alan Garner, passed away, Thursday, February 24, 2022, after a sudden illness. He was 62 years old.
Mike was born in Bennettsville, SC on August 17, 1959, to the late Milton Laron and Mary Louise Furmage Garner. He was a retired from Spectrum, with 35 years dedicated service. He was a member of Piney Plan Freewill Baptist Church. He was an avid handy man, going on outings with family, working outside, riding around and talking with people, never met a stranger, he was a giving person, loved football and baseball, he loved his family more that anything in this world, but most importantly, his 1st love was God.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Deliah Grooms Garner; son, Benjamin “Ben” Garner; brothers, Franklin Garner (Becky) and David Garner (Carrie); sister, Karen Garner Branch; grandchildren, Arian Garner, Christopher Garner, and Emory Garner; and many special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brothers, Randy Garner and Timothy Garner; sister, Sandra Garner Price; grandparents.
A funeral service will be held 3pm, Monday, February 28, 2022, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, officiated by Revs. Sampson “BO” Grooms and Donald Deal. A visitation will be held 2-3 pm just prior to the service at the funeral home.
