BENNETTSVILLE, SC

Paul Douglas Flowers, 77, of Bennettsville, SC passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born August 12, 1943 in Clio, SC, a son of the late Zadie Mumford Flowers and William Baxley Flowers. Paul honorably served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church, spending time with friends and family. He also, enjoyed caring for his pets, especially his chickens. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death are his parents; siblings Vera Jackson (sister) and Neal Flowers (brother); son, James Ronald “Ronnie” Flowers and granddaughter, Kelli Nichole Bullard.

Survivors include his daughter, Paula Bullard (Mike) of Laurens, SC; son, Ray Flowers (Kerri) of Lexington, SC; and daughter Linda Goins (George) of Wallace, SC; sister Doris Langley of Bennettsville, SC. His grandchildren James “Jay” Ronald Flowers, Jr. (Amber) of Laurinburg, NC; Josh Flowers; George “Dylan” Bullard of Seattle, WA; Brenda Elaine “Lainey” Bullard currently residing in San Diego; David “DJ” Johnson (Jade) of Cheraw, SC; Taylor Johnson of Wallace; Charles Austin “CA” Flowers of Lexington, SC and Spencer “Dale” Flowers of Lexington, SC; great-grandchildren, Parker James Flowers, Charles Wyatt Flowers, and Sadie Grace Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, between 6:00-8:00 PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, located at 688 Beauty Spot Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512.

Funeral Services will be held at Florence National Cemetery, located at 803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506, on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 1:00 PM.
