Tammy Sue Dew Johnson, age 51 of Bennettsville passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 after a sudden illness.
Tammy was born in Bennettsville, SC, a daughter of the late Jennings William “JW” and Mary Sue Jackson Dew. She worked as a medical technician at Evans Correctional Institution. She attended McColl Church of God and Oak Hill Church of God. Tammy enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains. She also enjoyed talking with friends on the phone.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Keith Evans Johnson of the home; a daughter, Keiton Kyleigh Faythe Johnson of Bennettsville; a special “little sister” Tina Hale of Bennettsville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday May 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
