Mr. Tracy Franklin Rudolph English, Jr. passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 after an illness at McLeod Health Florence. He was 69 years old.
Tracy was born in Bennettsville on March 10, 1950 to the late Tracy Franklin Rudolph English, Sr. and Mary Beulah Dew English. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam and was a purple heart recipient. He was a Mill Rite for Fiber Industries. Tracy enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging around his favorite person, his brother Floyd, but most importantly he loved his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Gail Bryant English of Blenheim, SC; sons, Tommy Locklair of Coward, SC and Jeff Locklair of Effingham, SC; brothers, Jerry English (Patsy) of Griffin, NC, Lewis English (Betty) of Blenheim, SC and Floyd English (Carolyn) of Blenheim, SC; sisters, Sally Morton of Laurinburg, NC, Sheila Phillips (Sonny) of Blenheim, SC, and Shirley Swann of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Abbi Locklair, Jordan Locklair, and Jake Levine.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; brother, Robert English; sister, Doris Faye English; Mama, Shady English.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Salem Baptist Church, with burial in Brownsville Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Blake Godbold. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Burroughs Funeral Home.
